No new How I Lawyer episode this week but I did want to let you know the exciting news that I was a podcast guest!

As you know, this year I ventured into podcasting for the first time. After 40 episodes of my own podcast I was asked to be a guest on the Texas Appellate Law Podcast (I know I am not a Texas Appellate lawyer but its a fantastic show). In the episode I got the chance to talk about my career path, the path to getting judicial clerkships, what I’ve learned from starting How I Lawyer, my teaching, my scholarship, and lots of other related topics. During a pandemic especially it is hard to take stock of what you do, why you do it, and the trajectory of it all. I think this podcast episode helped me do just that.

I had an absolute blast chatting with the show’s hosts D. Todd Smith (Butler Snow) and Jody Sanders (Kelly Hart) and I thought you might be interested in listening to our conversation.
